Small-Batch Bags made by one woman, on an antique Singer machine, for your Knitting, Crochet, or other projects
A Limited Edition stitched together for you! This listing is for what I have left of the 2018 Holiday snow bunnies bag!
Limited edition club prints are very...well, limited. ;) Each wedge bag has a special Limited Edition tag with the year the print was offered. Bags will begin shipping the week of Thanksgiving.
These prints will only be here for a limited time so grab them while you can!
Bag sizes are as follows:
Regular Wedge: 11" wide, 6" tall and 3" wide at the bottom. The perfect size for socks in progress or a similarly sized project.
Tall Wedge: 11" wide, 10" tall and 4" wide at the bottom. This size allows for you to fold open the top of your bag while you're working on your project, and is a bit more roomy for a shawl, hat, heavy socks or larger accessories.
Large Wedge: 15" wide, 10" tall and 4" wide at the bottom. This size will easily fit a sweater-in progress or (very) large shawl
Gigantic (TWSS) Wedge: Approximately 19″ long, 14″ high and 5″ wide at the bottom. This size is perfect to tote an afghan in progress, the biggest of big sweaters, most of what you’d stash under your kitchen sink, or an average sized toddler (not kidding, it really is that big! It will hold 15 skeins of worsted weight yarn). Get ready to say ‘Whoa, that’s …big.’ when you open your package!
All bags are lined with quality coordinating fabric and interfaced. Boxed corners and pull tabs are double stitched for durability.
Each bag includes a color-coordinated zipper pull made of coordinating swarovski crystals and a silver bee - a signature addition to all Stitched by JessaLu bags.
All items are made on an antique Singer sewing machine in a smoke-less and dog-friendly home (though she isn't allowed in the sewing room). Please convo me if you have any questions!
Stitched by JessaLu was founded in 2008 by me, JessaLu, when I was incredibly burned out in my career path at the time and I felt that I needed to have a more creative outlet to make an income. When I was young, my grandmother taught me to sew and gave me the nickname JessaLu - so I decided that I would give a nod to her and the foundation she helped lay which grew into SbJL. I use a bee in my logo because it is believed that bees help pass messages to those who have passed on, and I like to think that every bag that goes on to live at a new home sends a little message to her that I am using the tools she taught me, and am grateful to her for them.
SbJL has grown to offer accessories as well as Project Bags, and I work to source the items that are not made by me, to be sure that they are either designed by women artists, or distributed by women owned businesses. Because I believe that women need to lift each other up.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my little corner of the web - I hope you will find a new cozy home for your project here. ~j
