Small-Batch Bags made by one woman, on an antique Singer machine, for your Knitting, Crochet, or other projects
A project bag sewn for you! This particular project bag is made from 100% cotton fabric, providing a sturdy and durable base for carrying your crafting supplies. This bag features characters from the movie Guardians of the Galaxy and is lined with a coordinating space fabric. The three layers of fabric and interfacing help to protect your yarn and other crafting materials from when you inevitably bobble that iced coffee and it goes everywhere (or is that just me? lol)
The bag is designed with a convenient zipper closure, ensuring your materials are safe and secure during transit. The zipper pull is adorned with a bee bead and crystals, providing a touch of elegance to the overall design. This zipper pull not only adds aesthetic value but also makes it easy to open and close the bag.
In addition to being stylish and functional, this project bag is also practical. It is machine washable, allowing for easy cleaning in case of any spills or stains. Overall, this project bag is the perfect accessory for any knitter or crochet enthusiast who loves a fun fabric print and wants a functional, durable, and stylish way to transport their crafting materials.
Tall Wedge Sizing: 11" wide, 10" tall and a 4"x11" wide flat bottom. This size allows for you to fold open the top of your bag while you're working on your project, and is a bit more roomy for a shawl, hat, heavy socks or larger accessories. (photo is of a tall wedge)
All items are made on an antique Singer sewing machine in a smoke-less and dog-friendly home (though they aren't allowed in the sewing room). Please convo me if you have any questions!
(this description was written by ChatGPT with edits by JessaLu)
Stitched by JessaLu was founded in 2008 by me, JessaLu, when I was incredibly burned out in my career path at the time and I felt that I needed to have a more creative outlet to make an income. When I was young, my grandmother taught me to sew and gave me the nickname JessaLu - so I decided that I would give a nod to her and the foundation she helped lay which grew into SbJL. I use a bee in my logo because it is believed that bees help pass messages to those who have passed on, and I like to think that every bag that goes on to live at a new home sends a little message to her that I am using the tools she taught me, and am grateful to her for them.
SbJL has grown to offer accessories as well as Project Bags, and I work to source the items that are not made by me, to be sure that they are either designed by women artists, or distributed by women owned businesses. Because I believe that women need to lift each other up.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my little corner of the web - I hope you will find a new cozy home for your project here. ~j
