Small-Batch Bags made by one woman, on an antique Singer machine, for your Knitting, Crochet, or other projects
A project bag sewn for you! This sassy unicorn themed Stitched by JessaLu Project Bag Knitting Bag (or a purse or a lunch bag or a makeup bag - there are no limits) is a perfect size to hold your sock-in-progress, shawl-in-progress or any other medium sized project - it also works well as a wristlet purse!
All bags are lined with quality coordinating fabric and interfaced. Boxed corners and pull tabs are double stitched for durability.
Each bag includes a color-coordinated zipper pull made of coordinating swarovski crystals and a silver bee - a signature addition to all Stitched by JessaLu bags.
Zipper color varies on this bag. If you would like a specific color, please send a note during checkout and I will try to make it so!
This print is available in these shapes and sizes:
Tall Wedge: 11" wide, 10" tall and 4" wide at the bottom. This size allows for you to fold open the top of your bag while you're working on your project, and is a bit more roomy for a shawl, hat, heavy socks or larger accessories.
Large Wedge: 15" wide, 10" tall and 4" wide at the bottom. This size will easily fit a sweater-in progress or (very) large shawl
This listing is for 1 project bag. Photos of multiple bags are for example only.
All items are made on an antique Singer sewing machine in a smoke-less and dog-friendly home (though she isn't allowed in the sewing room). Please convo me if you have any questions!
Stitched by JessaLu was founded in 2008 by me, JessaLu, when I was incredibly burned out in my career path at the time and I felt that I needed to have a more creative outlet to make an income. When I was young, my grandmother taught me to sew and gave me the nickname JessaLu - so I decided that I would give a nod to her and the foundation she helped lay which grew into SbJL. I use a bee in my logo because it is believed that bees help pass messages to those who have passed on, and I like to think that every bag that goes on to live at a new home sends a little message to her that I am using the tools she taught me, and am grateful to her for them.
SbJL has grown to offer accessories as well as Project Bags, and I work to source the items that are not made by me, to be sure that they are either designed by women artists, or distributed by women owned businesses. Because I believe that women need to lift each other up.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my little corner of the web - I hope you will find a new cozy home for your project here. ~j
